Developair, represented in Israel by ITEC, has been selected to join the “Prepare for Space” program, led by the European Space Agency’s (ESA) technology broker, as reported by Infoespacial, a leading Spanish media outlet for the space sector. This initiative is designed to help companies enter the space market, offering specialized training, support for economic activities in the industry, and connections with key stakeholders in the global space business.
Participation in the program enables Developair to adapt its AI-driven tool for automating verification and validation of embedded software to the stringent requirements of the space industry. The tool has already proven its value in sectors such as railways, automotive, and energy—delivering cost savings of 30–50% and reducing software development timelines by 40–55%. It also streamlines certification processes and strengthens system security—advantages now being extended to the space technology domain.
The “Prepare for Space” program leverages Arribes’ I3 methodology and is supported by the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). This comprehensive framework guides participants through refining corporate identity, strengthening market positioning, building market intelligence, and measuring operational impact—ensuring readiness to face the challenges and opportunities of the space sector.
Through the program and the I3 methodology, Developair will be able to identify its most relevant capabilities, create a compelling value proposition, and position itself strategically within the space sector’s value chain. The initiative also opens doors to funding opportunities, partnerships, and new clients, all within a 12-month roadmap.
